CHARITY is at the heart of our work and our faith and it always has been. For the Knights of Columbus, charity means supporting a virtually boundless variety of projects locally and worldwide. FAITH We're here to build a daily bridge back to what matters for our members and fellow Catholics. FRATERNITY With 1.9 million members around the world, we have been investing our time, effort and resources into our values of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism since 1882.
If you're interested in helping those in need, serving our parish and growing in your faith, then the Knights of Columbus is the organization for you. Becoming a Knight of Columbus can transform your life. The benefits of membership in the Knights of Columbus can be summed up in three areas: Faith, Stability, Service. Since 1882, membership in the Knights of Columbus has been open to men 18 years of age or older who are "practical" (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See. Since that time, the Knights of Columbus has understood "practical catholic" to mean a Catholic who accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspires to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the Catholic Church. We are the Eugene A Baker, Sr. Council #11215 est. November 22nd, 1993.
BECOME A KNIGHT OF COLUMBUSMembers who wish to live out patriotism together can join “the Fourth Degree.” Members of this degree have the special honor of holding the title “Sir Knight,” participating in color and honor guards and organizing programs that promote Catholic citizenship. They also become part of a Fourth Degree Assembly in our parish. There are more than 3,500 Fourth Degree assemblies around the world. This is an optional and the final degree of the Knights of Columbus. Our 4th Degree Assembly is The Rev. John J. Owen Assembly #3028 est. March 19th, 2007.
