Reheating Instructions
For Vacuum-Sealed BBQ
You may thaw the meat to be heated, or begin with it frozen.
1. Add water to a large pot - the depth should be deep enough to cover the package being heated.
2. Turn burner on high heat.
3. When the water begins to steam, add packaged meat (still in bag do not open) to the pot and bring to a rolling boil.
4. After boiling for 3 minutes, turn heat to simmer and cover the pot.
Boston Butts - Let simmer for at least 90 minutes. Internal temperature of meat should be at least 165° F.
Ribs - Let simmer for at least 60 minutes.
Note: If you heat in a microwave (not preferred method), use the defrost cycle AND keep the bag sealed. Be careful not to explode the bag.
